FORD AND WILLKIE HOLD SECRET SESSION
Rushville, Ind. Sept. 9 –

Henry Ford made a surprise visit to Republican Presidential nominee Wendell Willkie today. The auto manufacturer was closeted with Mr. Willkie for about 10 minutes but his visit was kept secret until after his departure. When Mr. Willkie then was asked whether Mr. Ford would support him in November, he replied:

You’ll have to ask Mr. Ford.
