FARLEY’S VOTE ANALYST EXPECTS ‘G.O.P. LANDSLIDE’
Ironwood, Mich., Nov. 2 (UP) –
Emil Hurja, political analyst credited with inspiring James Farley’s forecast in the 1936 presidential election, predicted today that Wendell Willkie would won “by a generous majority.”
Mr. Hurja, in a radio address last night urging Mr. Willkie’s election, said indications “even point to a landslide” for the Republican candidate. Mr. Hurja, editor of The Pathfinder Magazine, spoke over a special network of upper peninsula stations.
