Errors
Britain’s Ministry of Agriculture, reports the New York Herald Tribune, made a serious error in announcing a plan:
…to improve a considerable area of land in the neighborhood of Llanfairpwillgyngligerchwrnodrobwlllandsiliogogogoch, in Wales.
The name, says the Herald Tribune, should have been spelled:
Ilanfairpwllgwyngyligergerychwyrndrobwllalanosylizgogogoch.
Tut, tut! As every schoolboy knows, the name should have been spelled:
Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.
