I’ve noticed in the WW2 videos, whenever you say a Finnish name, you make sure to say it right. You actually pronounce the long vowels and the geminate consonants. Most native English speakers wouldn’t know to do that just from reading a Finnish name in a book. That makes me wonder: how did you learn these nuances of Finnish pronunciation? Do you speak Finnish?
