Did the European counties still play sport against each other during WW2?

Yes, there were international football matches between Axis countries. At least in Europe.

Denmark played national football game against Sweden. Famous for the spectators also singing the Norwegian anthem.

Wait a min. Danish government was in exile aka Denmark doesn’t exist in Europe at least, so did Denmark play?

Denmark had a Corporation policy with Germany until August 1943. The society continued as there was no war as Denmark could deliver a huge part of the German food supply. Our goverment even approved that Danes joined the German Army. An arrangement that still haunts the Danes.
