Hi,
Did anyone read Death of the Wehrmacht 1942 by Robert Citino? If yes what is your opinion of it.
I liked this (old schoolbook) actually as it explains how the German “Destruction battle” doctrine grew less and less effective of the years. Also he claims the German Army was used to operate on a “shoestring”.
It is a fantastic work, the downsides I noticed was the lousy maps which seems to be the hallmark of university press works or maybe it is just to save money.
