Did any African American divisions liberate concentration camps?

This is one question, I think. How do I divide it?

No, because I don’t believe any divisions of African Americans were ever formed. A division is a formation of 10,000 soldiers and the US only formed like 80 of them in the whole war. African Americans were organized into segregated battalions and were, generally, combat support or service support battalions (there were a number of AA tank, ADA, TD, and engineer battalions along with transportation companies). I’m not really aware of any AA rifle battalions (there were some Japanese ones though and there were two regiments of Philippine Scouts), but some were organized into provisional rifle platoons to shore up the weakening rifle units towards the end of the war. Were any of them involved in the liberation of prison camps? Maybe.
