CONSCRIPTION IN A NUTSHELL

Who?
All men, citizens and aliens, 21 to 36.

When?
Wednesday, October 16, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Where?
Preferably at one of the designated stations in your own community, but any station will register you. Lists of convenient stations are posted at every election polling place.

Information?
You’ll need no more than you can carry in your head.

Alone?
Yes, no need to bring dependents or witnesses.

If sick?
Send a competent friend to the nearest station for your card and instructions. If too sick, your doctor’s certificate will permit you to register later.

If in hospital?
A registrar will come to your bed.

If in jail?
The warden will register you the day you are released.
