CIANO’S PAPER RAPS ‘WAR GIRLS’ IN U.S.

Rome, Aug. 23 –
The newspaper Telegrafo of Leghorn, owned by Foreign Minister Count Galeazzo Ciano, was bitterly critical of American “girls in khaki” today and told American women to mind their own business and let men worry about politics and war.

The newspaper said:

One cannot read American newspapers and magazines without finding therein some appeal to American women to prepare for civil mobilization.
