BRITISH SHIP SUNK, 11 U.S. AVIATORS DIE
Ottawa, Ont., May 6 (UP) –
The Canadian government disclosed today that 11 United States aviators, engaged to fly American-made bombers to Great Britain, lost their lives with 111 other persons in a recent ship sinking attributed to “enemy action.”
The name of the ship and details as to the manner of its sinking were withheld.
