Bey of Tunis dies
Vichy, June 19 –
Sidi Ahmed II, Bey of Tunis, died unexpectedly today and his son, Sidi Mohammed El Traieb, immediately assumed power. The 80-year-old bey, who succeeded his cousin to the throne in 1929, recently affirmed his loyalty to the Vichy government.
