As stated multiple times, propaganda plays a huge role on the civilians in the war. So what did Germany and other Axis nations do once they conquered territory? Did they put someone from their own country in charge, or did they get sympathetic elements within the country to manage propaganda programs? For example, was the person in charge of propaganda radio broadcasts in Greece a German, Italian, or sympathetic Greek?

I know they produced a magazine, Signal, since the word is roughly the same in most European languages.
