Another great topic is Makin Island were I was in 2013 and is a fantastic island with awesome snorkeling
80th Anniversary of the Makin Island Raid - 1942 - YouTube

Finally for the timeline STICKLERS who DO NOT KNOW what D-Day is we have a meeting coming up in Normandy which has the Bayeux Tapestry describing and commemorating the Great Invasion of England from Normandy in 1066!!

Vive la France and they have great seafood and crepes/pancakes !

See you there,
Chewie!

I think you are forgetting the baguette and frogs and snails. The french eat those too you know. :stuck_out_tongue:

Fresh bakery baguettes :baguette_bread: are awesome. The :woman_cook: bakeries open early. The non=French supermarket stuff turns into baseball :baseball: bats after half a day. An no I won’t eat escargot :snail: if these are even inside a giant bowl of Nutellla :zipper_mouth_face:. I might want a career as a snail catcher though. Sounds relaxed.
