I know there is so much to cover during the war as there was a lot going on and there just isn’t enough time to cover it all but a cool episode might focus on the women who flew the planes.
In Russia women fighter pilots were feared and even revered and given the name “Night Witches”. German pilots feared them and bounties were regularly placed on these female pilots heads.
Then there were the Canadian women who flew fighters and bombers from Canadian and American factories to Great Britain and even on European soil later in the war. Without these women flying the planes over the ocean to combat zones who knows how the air war might of turned out.
