New York GOP backs Democrat for mayor

NEW YORK (AP) – New York City’s five Republican leaders today endorsed a Democrat, General Sessions Judge Jonah J Goldstein, for the party’s nomination for mayor.

Goldstein was offered the Liberal Party nomination Thursday night and is expected to receive the Fusion Party endorsement as well.
