Washington (UP) –
Army Flying Fortresses have bombed the Japanese air bases at Buin and Kahili in the Solomons, scoring hits on a runway and protective works, the Navy announced today.

All U.S. planes returned from the raids, which took place Sunday (Solomons Time).
