Rickenbacker to visit capital in few days
Washington (UP) –
Secretary of War Henry L. Stimson said today that he expected to see Capt. Eddie Rickenbacker – World War I ace recently lost in the Pacific for 21 days – “walk into my office about the 15th of this month.” He would not reveal whether or not Capt. Rickenbacker was now in the United States.
He continued:
However, I do know that he is busy and I do know I have a date with him soon.
