A New Delhi radio message intercepted says that the Allies have complete preparations to land on Singapore on September 5.

The Japanese Army authorities in Singapore are busy making preparations for the Allies to use airfields and official residences.

The surrender of the Japanese forces at Rabaul, New Britain Island, is expected to be effected sometime next week.

The British East Indies Fleet, now anchored off Penang, will finalize preparations to land troops on Singapore immediately after the completion of the agreement between the Japanese and British armed forces.
