AIR OVER AMERICA ‘SPY-PROOFED,’ F.C.C. SAYS
Washington, Jan. 2 (UP) –

The Federal Communications Commission advised Congress today that the air over America has been spy-proofed and that United States broadcasts to South America have been increased to combat totalitarian influences. The commission said in its annual report that more than $1,750,000 has been spent to relocate six of its seven monitor stations and to add 100 field units capable of intercepting unlicensed transmissions.
