Accident at Los Alamos atom laboratory reported
LOS ALAMOS, New Mexico (AP) – The Los Alamos atomic bomb laboratory last night announced that “a small number of persons were injured, one of them possibly seriously” in an accident at the laboratory Tuesday.
The project security officer said he could give no details, but that the accident was neither an explosion nor a fire.
