A "War Against Humanity" request to Spartacus

Dear Spartacus (and the TG team):

I am writing you today because of something terrifying I read just the other day, that fully 20% of all Americans between the ages of 18 and 29 believe that the Holocaust is a myth. That very statistic saddens me, angers me, and makes me feel as if the educational system of my country has utterly failed.

As a result, I am asking you—begging you—to do something for me. A perhaps not-so-simple request.

I am requesting that the upcoming episode of “War Against Humanity” for the date of 27 January, 1945, the date for the liberation of the Auschwitz labor and extermination camp by the forces of the Soviet Red Army, be an extra-long and detailed episode, exposing for the entire world, for all time, the horrors of the Nazi camp system. No advertiser will like the unflinching view I am requesting: not a single censored video or picture—a completely honest and open and unrelenting show of what the Nazis did to our fellow human beings in the name of race-based hate…and why we can never allow such a thing to happen again. I am asking that you reach out, beforehand, to YouTube and inform them that, no matter what their policy is, or what track they take, if it denies the video to be seen, then they are fully-engaged with the enemies of truth. Your absolute vision toward historical facts—well documented facts—should mean that your entire channel is exempted from any attempts at their censorship. This is their documented policy on “educational” materials, but it seems that they are completely willing to side-step that policy for you—one of the premier educational channels on the platform—but are willing to enforce it for some channels that are of extremely dubious content, the likes of which I will not mention out loud. I additionally ask that once you have produced the video and uploaded it to YouTube, you do not censor it, remove it, or alter it—or just as importantly—allow it to be altered by YouTube. It must remain, as intended, to show the world the levels of barbarism from which we had to crawl back, inch by bloody inch, back into civility.

Ike knew that people would try to say that the Holocaust never happened, so he demanded that everything be documented in absolute detail, as a testament of living proof that could not be denied; however, recently, uninformed busy-bodies, or people with a deeply hidden agenda, have been clearly winning the war against knowledge and truth, and they have infiltrated school-boards around the United States and have been censoring or removing items from the well-known and proven curricula in their faux-concern rallying-cry of “protecting the children.” But, as we all know, when one prevents truth from being known because of its inconvenient nature, lies are allowed to proliferate unimpeded. This cannot continue, and should not have been allowed initially. This is why I ask you to do this thing that is drastic, something that may well cost you any monetization for the episode; but in the name of truth and historical fact, must happen.

Please consider my request. In this way, we can force-feed truth to those who need it most, by shoving their denial straight down their throats until they choke on their own lies, causing the world once, and hopefully for all, to never forget.

Thank you,
TimeGhost Captain, Phillip R. Hall

Sounds like a good suggestion to me, Phillip Hall, I’m on board with it. I read a similar (maybe the same one) story, and 23% of those in this age group said it was exaggerated. To me, admitting it happened but downplaying it because it was “exaggerated” is even worse than completely denying it.
