A visit of the esch casemate at the maginot line

Hello, today, I went to the casemate of esch, it’s near hatten “musée de l’abri”. The visit tooka bit because we had an itneersting talk with those of the association who owned the site, I took a lot of pictures and the bunkkerappear to have been damaged during the battle of hatten.

Edit: The guides also gave us a demonstration of a grenade launcher, the mechanism to release the grenade down still worked

In the 6th picture, there is a grey spot with twisted pipes. What is its function?

I think they wanted to show obstacles used around the casemate (not a 100% sure)
