Currently reding calumm douglas new book entitled “the secret horsepower race” and I must say that it’s a really nice book with tons of report ,original document+some noevelty with per example picture of a me 409 with DB 628 engine and tons of stuff than can inspire modelist , the book discuss piston engine development of great britain , america ,germany ,italy and does have a part talking about french engine wich was quite surprising to me https://www.mortonsbooks.co.uk/product/view/productCode/15057
