Maybe in Mid summer, at the end of the weekly episode, why not give the baseball results for that week in the USA. Then use that to show how in the UK there was no Football or Cricket leagues, but the USA was mostly untouched. No blackout on the coast, helping U-Boats. How the USA just carried on for the most part. Use that as an illustration.
