Amazing Indy and crew,
I have a question for Out of the Foxholes.
Did soccer play a great part in de Nazi propaganda?
Do you know if there were any soccer fans among the Nazi leadership?
At my home a have banner of the German soccerclub Schalke04
They are champions of Germany 7 times from wich 6 times in the Nazi era.
So for them strange enough this Nazi era was the best period in their club history.
Kind Regards from Juan

In the Axis Minors it was mandatory for football clubs to do the Nazi Salute prior to the start of a match. This, for example, is a picture from the match between Macedonia Skopje (left) and Levski Sofia (right). The Levski players refused to do the salute and were fined for it.
