exactly… so from 1922… wouldn’t the other colonies… holy smokes look at that beauty called freedom given to Egypt… I want that too and launch an uprising like (spoilers the dutch-indonesian war)… but that didn’t happen. Why?

Plenty did. They either lost momentum or were cracked down or both.

There were already signs of that (the Great War, Ireland, Iraq and India’s independence movement). The war merely accelerated the process.
